Kids can eat organic Chia seeds for brain power as they are a Super Food with five times more calcium than milk, three times more antioxidants than blueberries, three times more iron than spinach, and eight times more Omega 3s than salmon, low in calories and high in fiber. Kids can put 1/3 cup of organic Chia seeds and 1 cup organic almond milk in a small bowl and let stand ½ hour. Chia seeds are able to retain nine times their weight in water and form a jellylike protective layer. Kids can mix 1/3 cup of organic blueberries, ¼ cup organic coconut flakes, and 1/8 tsp nutmeg into the Chia pudding. This high energy treat is delicious for breakfast or any time of day and will store in the refrigerator for a week.
