Kids love sweet juicy pears. They are easy to digest, are rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory nutrients, fiber, and phytonutrients that help prevent many chronic diseases, and are good for those with food allergies. Kids can plant a pear tree in a container on the patio. A fall harvest of organic home grown fruit is a Super Food snack for kids. Wash 2 organic Bartlett pears and slice them into a 9×9 baking dish with 2 tbsp organic maple syrup, 1 tsp grated fresh organic ginger and 1 tsp chopped almonds. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
