Kids can make organic old-fashioned rolled oats for a quick, easy, nutrient and fiber rich breakfast. Kids have helped their folks cultivate oats all over the world for thousands of years. Oats are harvested, cleaned, roasted, and hulled, but do not loose their bran and germ in the process. Old fashioned oats are steamed and rolled without coloring, stabilizers, or preservatives. Organic oats are not genetically modified or treated with any toxic chemicals in their growing or processing. Oats are gluten-free, low fat, and heart healthy. Oats have the highest percentage of protein and fiber of any grain, giving kids brain power and energy. Kids can pour 1 cup of water into a small pot, bring to a boil, and add ½ cup of organic old-fashioned rolled oats. For sweetness and added nutrition, kids can chop 1 tbsp of organic pecans and 2 chopped dried organic apricots and add them to the pot. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Kids can add 1 tsp maple syrup, dash of sea salt, and dash of organic cinnamon for a wholesome breakfast full of strength and energy.
