Kid Chef Polenta Snacks


Kids can make a quick, easy gluten free party snack with 1 lb of Organic pre cooked Polenta and a 14.5 oz can of Organic Diced and Fire Roasted Tomatoes with organic green chilies. Polenta is mainly corn meal and is popular in Italian dishes and Mexican tamales. Kids can strain the tomatoes and put the juice in a pan. Mix 2 tbsp tomato juice and 1 tbsp organic extra virgin olive oil on the bottom of a baking pan. Slice the Polenta roll into 1/8” thick pieces, place the pieces on the baking pan, and top with the tomato mix. Kids can cook 4 oz of organic baby kale in the pan of tomato juice for 5 minutes, strain the kale, and place it on top of the tomato mix. Top with organic vegan mozzarella cheese and bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
