Kids can find frozen Organic Fillo Dough at the supermarket that can be used to make many delicious dishes, especially in Greek cooking. Kids can defrost the dough overnight in the refrigerator and 2 hours at room temperature. Kids can refreeze the pastry sheets that are not needed for the recipe. Fillo dough can be used for sweet baklava dessert or savory spinach appetizers. Steam 2 bunches of fresh organic spinach, ¼ chopped organic red onion, 2 cloves organic garlic. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Pour into the blender with 3 oz organic plain soy yogurt, 1 tsp organic extra virgin olive oil, ½ tsp sea salt, and ¼ tsp nutmeg. Blend until smooth. Line a pan with parchment paper and brush top of one sheet of fillo with olive oil and fold in half and brush top. Repeat with a second sheet creating 4 layers of fillo dough. Pour spinach mixture on top, sprinkle with 2 tbsp organic ground almonds, and 2 tbsp organic sun dried tomatoes. Put one sheet of fillo brush with olive oil, fold and brush, and repeat with a second sheet of fillo brushing the top with olive oil. Bake in oven for 10 minutes, cool, and cut into 12 pieces. Kids like to pick up organic spinach fillo, Greek Spanakopita, and eat it with their fingers.
