Kids Sleepover Treats


Kids can have a treat-making Sleepover Party! Kids enjoy being in the kitchen together making and eating these treats! When kids grow an organic herb garden, their guests can pick fresh herbs for their English Muffin Pizzas, which are easy to make and guests can choose their own toppings. After playing some games, sleepover kids can make a yummy dessert for later.  Bananas, cut in 1 inch pieces, on a toothpick, dipped in melted chocolate, rolled in walnuts and put in the freezer for 1 hour before serving. In the meantime, organic guacamole, mashed avocado, lemon juice, and spices, with fresh baked tortilla chips, organic corn tortillas cut into wedges and baked for 5 minutes, are a perfect snack while watching a movie. Everyone knows that slumber parties begin at bedtime. After telling stories, kids can make a Sleepy Time Shake in the blender, with 2 tbsp chopped walnuts, three chopped dates, a banana, and 6 ounces of soy yogurt. When slumber party goers wake up hungry early in the morning, organic whole grain pancakes with maple syrup and strawberries hit the spot. Everyone agrees that cooking together at a Sleepover Party is as terrific as being together and eating together!
