In the summer, backyard organic peaches are sweet, delicious, and nutritious. Kids love to eat fresh peaches right from the tree! Peaches are packed with nutrients, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatories and help eyesight, digestion, and bones.
For an amazing treat, kids can slice 3 organic peaches into a 6.5” x 6.5” casserole dish. Add ¼ cup organic brown sugar and ½ tsp arrowroot starch over the fruit and mix gently. Preheat the oven 350 degrees. In a small bowl mix ⅓ cup organic whole wheat flour, ⅓ cup organic old fashioned rolled oats, 1 tsp baking power, and ¼ tsp cinnamon. Add 4 tbsp organic extra virgin coconut oil and mix thoroughly to make crumbs. Spread the crumbs over the peaches. Add several candied organic walnuts on top. Bake 30 minutes and cool 15 minutes.
